Day 2 (again)

Light day today! I am really starting to love the energy gained from this.. My house is so much cleaner now haha!!! I have a new goal (usually I stick to one at a time, otherwise it's just too much!) It's to have 1 hour a day of focused exercise and laundry or dishes don't count!! Going along with the better eating idea, I'm looking into intuitive eating. It's based on a healthy attitude towards food, not dieting, but eating enough to satisfy the hunger and not saying something is 'good' or 'bad'. I'm just now learning about it, but it seems like a positive approach! xoxo

Day 1 (again)

I was back out again running today... I thought it would be hard, but it felt great!!! My boys came with me and we spent the time racing from one point to another again and again. I love their laughter ❤ My cup runneth over. xoxo

Day 16
I have to say, as much as I love gimping around, I'm getting rather tired of it. The bruise covering the top of my foot and the fist sized one on my upper leg make running incredibly painful. I'm hoping my forced lazyness today benefits me, though I'll have to start day 1 again. I'm NOT quiting!  I have energy, I sleep really well, and I have more patience. Running is awesome! Looking forward to July 4th! Now to work on the diet part of it.... *sigh* This is a great place to start! We have created meal plans for this week that include fresh whole foods and so far everyone in the family likes it! I have homemade almond crunch granola in the oven right now. Toasting almonds and coconut in the oven makes the house smell so good! xoxo

I walked... kinda. I'm sick of hurting. I want to run again! Because this is me trying to get better than I was before, I say today counts! Everyday I get closer and better! xoxo

Day 14
Putting on my left shoe was the worst part because of the bruise covering the whole top of my foot. Two weeks in and I'm not breaking my streak. I couldn't run more than a few steps at a time, but I got out there and I didn't cut my route short. Every step: ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch... I've haven't felt this good in a long time. I think mostly because I'm actually doing it. I have energy after I get back home and I love it! xoxo

Day 13
I've been sleeping soooo good!!! I'm glad I got out this morning. I was still lacking energy from being sick, but ran a lot anyway! BUT, just after running I fell down the stairs.. I have a huge bruise on my toosh, the whole top of my left foot, my knee, and both ankles. *sad panda* Then, it started thunderstorming. I thought attempting to run while sick yesterday was rough. Tomorrow is definitly going to be interesting!!!

Day 12
Oh my! I have been sick today. (BUT, I didn't drink soda!) I didn't want to break the streak, so I got out there. I tried running, but had to stop after 5 steps... So. much. pain.  I decided to just walk my usual path. That still counts, right?!??! I vote yes! Ari was a bit disappointed, she kept shouting, "Run, Monet, run!!" ...She calls me Monet... weird, but I dig it. We've never corrected her!! Wish me luck for tomorrow. xoxo
